CHILLING - THRILLING - GHOST TOURS ARE A TOUR YOU'LL NEVER FORGET

Ghost tours were first introduced to South African audiences at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. Having been inspired by London's Ghost Bus and Jack The Ripper tours the tour operators combined both concepts to launch their Ghost Tours to South African audiences in 2001.

Since then the tours have beem introduced in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria & Port Elizabeth, with Durban and the Midlands Meander (Kwa-Zulu Natal) tours coming soon.

The Ghost tours are actually a theatre-on-wheels played out in a touring coach and cater for both the Public and Groups (corporate events, team building, end-of-year functions, birthday parties & tour groups).

At about half the price and twice as long usual sight-seeing tours the Ghost Tours offer more than any other ghost tour worldwide.

Tours start at a pub to get you into the Spirit !
Here we introduce you to the History & Science of the Paranormal
Explain the many different types of ghosts
On the coach we dramatise 3 stories and include haunting music and eerie sound effects
On tour we drive past many haunted, murder & mystery sites.

The tour includes Four (4) Off-The-Bus stops which include:

2 Pub and Grub Stops along the route, with entry into a dark mystery room at one of the pubs
Off-The-Bus stop to detect energy fields using dowsing rods (audience participation)
Special Permission/Free Entry to a historical cemetery at midnight, which has a tour ending that even jolts even sceptics.

There are two types of tour.

Public Tours.

Public Tours are only held in Johannesburg at the beginning & end of every month, and are published in the Entertainment / Theatre Section of the Star newspaper, or you can call Computicket at any time for our Public Tour dates. Book at any Computicket, Checkers, Shoprite or selected MTN outlets, or Computicket 083 915 8000, or online bookings via www.computicket.com (but then you will still need to collect your Tickets from an outlet)

Group Tours

Group Tours are the same price as public tours with a minimum of 30 persons required for a tour to take place. If fewer than 30 persons apply for a tour the minimum fee for 30 persons will apply.
Coaches can fit in a maximum of 47 persons (except in Port Elizabeth, where the maximum is 59 persons).
Tour operators only operate 3 coaches per night.
A 50% Deposit is all that is required 2 weeks before your tour date, in order to secure your booking.
